Your privacy matters. Lumina AI does not require account creation and is designed for general audiences. The app collects only limited and anonymized data necessary to function properly and improve user experience.

Important: All images generated by Lumina AI are AI-enhanced content. Beauty enhancements and transformations are powered by artificial intelligence and results may vary.

2. Data We Collect

When you use Lumina AI, we collect:

• Usage and interaction data, such as app launches, screen views, taps, navigation, and feature usage
• Technical diagnostics data, such as crash reports and performance metrics
• Purchase-related events, such as paywall views and completed purchases, without access to payment or billing details
• Generation metadata, such as which beauty presets or AI models are used and generation success/failure rates (not the actual photos or prompts)

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, contact lists, or precise location data.

3. User Photos and Content

Lumina AI allows you to upload photos and apply AI beauty enhancements and creative transformations.

• Photos you select are sent to our AI processing servers for enhancement
• Photos are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers
• Enhanced images are returned to your device and saved in your in-app gallery
• You can save generated images to your device or delete them at any time
• We do not use your photos or generated content to train AI models
• Beauty prompts and preset selections are not stored or linked to your identity

4. AI-Generated Content Disclosure

All enhancements and transformations created through Lumina AI are generated by artificial intelligence.

• Beauty enhancements modify your original photo using AI models
• Results may not be perfectly accurate or realistic
• AI transformations (haircuts, travel locations, headshots, emojis) create artistic interpretations
• Users are responsible for how they use and distribute generated content
• Some jurisdictions may require disclosure when sharing AI-modified images

5. Analytics and Diagnostics

We use analytics to understand app usage, improve stability, and enhance usability.

Collected data includes:

• App interactions and navigation
• Screen views and feature usage
• Device and performance information
• Crash reports and error logs

We do not sell or share your analytics data with advertisers.

6. Identifiers

The app uses a random, anonymous device identifier to:

• Track your credit balance and purchases
• Associate your generated images with your device
• Provide consistent service across app sessions

This identifier:

• Cannot be used to identify you personally
• Is not linked to your real-world identity
• Is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking

7. Third-Party Processing

To operate the app, we rely on trusted third-party services for:

• AI image generation and beauty enhancement (Replicate, OpenAI, Black Forest Labs, ByteDance)
• In-app purchases and subscription management (RevenueCat, Apple)
• Image hosting and delivery (UploadThing, Cloudflare)
• Database services (Supabase)

These services process data only as required to provide their functionality and in accordance with their own privacy policies.

We do not sell user data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

12. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and industry-standard security practices to protect data processed by the app. Photos are transmitted and processed through secure, authenticated channels.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
